Also you should totally check out the official Dr. Who page for the next ep, "Tooth and Claw" which is just way too cool. Inspired a new icon even. Oh and can anybody tell me if those were, in fact, Shaolin monks who were turning into the werewolves?

*whimper* And the Confidential has totally got me pining for Captain Jack. The little mini video to "The Joker" was just too adorable.

The official page locked up Firefox entirely for me, unfortuntely, but I loaded up Safari and poked around a bit; found this this picture, which certainly looks like there's some Shaolin action going on (or faux-Shaolin, at least). Interesting mix, with the more traditional monk robes on the dude in front. Watching the trailer, I dunno if I think the Shaolin dudes (nice moves, though!) actually do any transforming, but they were certainly ready to kick some ass.

Also, you're already well aware of my obsession with men in square glasses, but there's going to be a hell of a lot of squeaking over Tenth if he keeps this sort of thing up. Rose should seriously reconsider those overalls, though.

Yeah you get to see a bit more of the monks in the preview and I could swear one of them is in the cage and transforms, but maybe I just misinterpreted something. Oh and the glasses, yeah I can't argue with you there, combined with the long coat and I'm swooning.

Uh, to having watched the Dr. Who Confidential that included this scene. Do you know who Sarah Jane Smith is? She was a companion back in the Pertwee and Baker days and they're bringing her and K-9 (another companion) back for an episode. In the scene they showed on the Confidential the Doctor was walking in the back with Mickey while Rose and Sarah (both in a huff) were walking ahead. Rose mutters, "You never mentioned her." The Doctor replies a little hesitantly, "Sure I did. I've mentioned her all the time, good old Sarah Jane." Rose pretends to think about it, "Surrey...Slythene...nope, no Sarah Jane." or words to that effect. It's totally the exgirlfriend/current girlfriend routine and Mickey is just eating it up.
