Lately, I'm afraid that the chorus is going to turn into, "If you've got no other reason, bomb IRAN (clap, clap)...." Because we have such fantastic diplomatic representation between our Secretary of War, er State, and our UN ambassador.

Actually, on the news last night, Bolton was already intoning solemnly. It was pretty much a verbatim repetition of the arguments initially used to forward the Iraqi invasion.

Air assault (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_assault) is not bombing. It's the delivery of light infantry to a combat zone via helicoptor. See also, the 101st Air Assault Division (http://www.campbell.army.mil/division.htm).
