Last night I think I found just the right combination of crunches to get the most effective abdominal workout yet. I *felt* the burn last night and am almost ready to believe I might have a flat stomach sometime this century. Maybe.

Class was good, I didn't screw up the routine once, which is good, except where everyone was screwing up. Fellahins are not meant to be done in circles, they're just not. At least not as fast as Shira wants us to do them. And it's nice to hear that everyones' zill work goes right out the window along with mine at that point.

The most interesting thing about class was the fact that Shira is actively recruiting for a dance troupe. I'm seriously considering this. It'd mean intense two hour rehearsals every Sunday, which is both good and bad. I'm loathe to give up Sundays, Mondays *and* Tuesdays for my habit, but it would help me get into shape that much faster and improve my dancing a great deal. It starts in June and goes through September/October when there's supposedly a performance. I'm dithering.

Of course it would also mean I'd have to start thinking of a "stage name". All dancers usually pick something middle eastern, or at least exotic sounding to use. Suggestions are welcome.

Watched Tombstone with the roomie last night and I may have annoyed her with my tendency to quote along with it. Doc just has so damn many good lines in that one. I also blathered a bit about the historical accuracies and inaccuracies of the film until Sue gave me the "I'm trying to watch the movie" look, and I shut up and crocheted.

Speaking of which, I'm working on the last sibling's afghan now, which I hope to finish this week. Then that's it, I'm free! My afghan obligations are over, then I can either finish up mine or set the crocheting aside for a bit and work on drawings and my Halloween costume. Hey, I'm doing Legolas and that's going to take some effort and time. And since I stitch by hand, it'll take lots of time.

Game four tonight against the Coyotes, I think both aelf and I are going to need some nice chammomile tea. I'm already nervous. But mister_sunshine's latest bunny for the week seems like a good omen. It's also eerily familiar *G* So tempted to turn it into an LJ icon...so tempted!

Does anybody know if LOTR is still in theaters? I really would like to make my viewings an even ten before it vanishes.

I've emailed Mike to see if I can use the pic as an LJ icon, already; just waiting to hear back from him. I'm cycling through these things way quicker than I ever really expected, it's funny. ^_^

I'm glad to hear you found an effective crunch set, that's great! I need to spend some quality time with my exercise magazines and pull a useful set of crunches together, and start doing them. After Fanime, I guess; until then, I'll be frantically sorting all the anime crap to get sold, or working the con.

And I'm bringing my chamomile lemon tea home, for tonight; there's lots of other stuff at home, too, and I never get to use my nifty teapot and tea glasses, so hopefully it won't be too hot for tea

I *think* it's actually supposed to start cooling down a bit, so a nice cup of tea should be quite delightful this evening. And I hope you've got understanding neighbors, I imagine things may get a bit noisy *G*

The office is at least a little bit cooler today, but that's probably due to wearing shorts and sandals. It was worst in the afternoon, anyway, when the heat caused my brain to shut down completely.

I think we have new neighbors since when we were watching WWF shows at my place, so they're probably not used to yelling. They'll just have to deal; I have very little sympathy for people with children who scream early on weekend mornings, or folks who play bass-heavy music very loudly. ^_^

I sympathize; I have the same problem!

Hey, I'm doing Legolas

Oooo, you're perfect for it!

So tempted to turn it into an LJ icon...so tempted!

Me, too! Augh. I followed up asking him for permission to use it, too! *whimper*

Sometimes movies are social events, other times they're art appreciation. Both have their place. I'll definitely fidget when I want to be snarky or gushy but the room would prefer otherwise. And scowl at such titterings when I'm going for the immersion.

Anyway, Tombstone rocks. Er, no pun intended.

What a neat name web site! I think that you should definitely go for the troop. Here are some stage names I thought might suit you:

Temirah
H= tall, erect, "like a palm"

Rabie
T= "goddess"

Rabiyah
M= "garden, spring"

"Goddess"? Oh my, wish all my former roommates thought so highly of me *G*

Well, I do think highly of you. :) Not to divine worship levels, though, I must admit. ;)

I liked that name because in my opinion, you seem to have a strong spiritual thread that runs through you, and a respect for the Goddess. So, it would be more in honor of Her, rather than claiming to be a goddess, if that makes any sense. Just my take on it - you may disagree.

Besides which, I tried to look for names that had a nice ring to them, and weren't too long. Important in a stage name, I think.
