Quilts - cool! And don't cats just *belong* on quilts?

Well my two are of the opinion that any large piece of fabric laying on the floor is there just for them, so it's always interesting to see who'll claim it first. It became a bit of a tradition, once I finished a quilt I'd get a pic of a cat on it. I wish I had a better one of the true horror that is the Snupin quilt...Gryffindor and Slytherin colors should never appear on the same quilt ever. And yet, it had to be done. You also can't really see the transfers of Snape and Lupin on there as well as the house symbols. It truly is horrid, but ravenmb seemed to adore it, and that was the point. :)

"Adore" does not quite do justice for my feelings for this quilt. Heh. And my girls love it too. Minnie claimed Severus last night, and Maggie sat on Remus' face and gave herself a bath. I tend to think of Maggie as a Gryffindor and Minnie as Slytherin, and that amused me greatly.

Now to find a way to gently wash the cat fur off it today. If I can do that, I will take another picture of my prized possession and pass it along to you.
