Ok so invisible monster is black smoke inside of which there are flashes showing whoever it's facing down? Hmmm. So was that the same thing that Locke "looked into the eyes" of? Or are we talking about different things entirely? And does it only not mess you up if you aren't afraid of it?

Also, Ecko is one bad...shut-my-mouth.

The voice inside Michael's head during that scene with Jack was probably sounding something like this:
"FuckohmyfuckinggodJackwillyoupleasejustgothefuckawayJesusJesusjustfuckoffgah!"

And they'd better goddamn well reveal what the hell Walt told him about where he was. Fuckers.

Ecko manages to confirm for me once again that guys do just look sexier in priest gear. Don't know why, they just do. Yeah, yeah, going to hell, I know. Sucks to be Ecko's little bro, though. Ok Ecko also manages squickiest moment on Lost to date, no matter how much you love your brother, hugging his ancient decayed corpse is just wrong. I mean ick.

Aw, Ecko and Charlie bonding over Catholicism was kind of sweet really. Jin and Sun making nice with Ana Lucia was also very sweet. Hurley flirting with the new blonde girl, super sweet. Claire giving Charlie the boot, um not so sweet. Hey people make mistakes, and last I checked you'd made a few of your own, girlie. Oh Charlie, poor lost Charlie, and his stash of the sweet, sweet smack which he might not have been as tempted to turn to if Claire hadn't been such a biatch about the whole thing.

And next week it looks like we're heading for a confrontation between the survivors and the Others. Yikes.
