My sister, [livejournal.com profile] enuffistoomuch sums up Star Wars: Battlefronts 2 so beautifully I had to share it:

But there are all these questions...will anyone really read a thousand entries about my particular progress in the Star Wars Battlefront 2 game? I think it might get slightly monotonous.

"Day two...Dagobah's a bitch and then you die...nineteen times...."

Come to think of it that last line wouldn't make a half bad bumpersticker.

I've got a present coming from [livejournal.com profile] ravenmb, theoretically today if UPS pulls its head out of its ass and finally delivers it. Woo! A novel of all things, written as a gift to me! Well at least I know how I'll be spending the evening :)

But this reminds me that I still have gifts to dispense to [livejournal.com profile] caredhel, [livejournal.com profile] forkmonkey, and [livejournal.com profile] mister_sunshine. I really should email all of you to set up times when I can at least swing by and drop stuff off but I seem to have used up all my organizational points before the holidays. These days I just kind of stare at the pile of gifts in the hope that they'll spontaneously delivery themselves. So far that's not really working out well for me.

On second thought I take the organizational thing back, I did get all of my media organized over the past week into nice compact binders. I left a few of my favorite sets out, but only the ones that fit neatly into the small shelves on the tv stand. I'd purchased one of those 520 compact disc holder thingies for my music thinking, "I'll never fill that up" and was astonished that just with my current stuff I was at about 3/4 full. Wow. Considering all the music I have in my car...well, I think I could finish it up, which is rather terrifying really.

Yeah I know that my collection is a mere drop in the bucket compared to most folks I know, but still. At least it's all organized now, alphabetical and all in one binder so I no longer have to drag multiple ones over to make a mix. Yay!

I slept pretty deeply last night but I do seem to recall a rather involved BSG-related dream. I suppose it's my subconscious' way of reminding me that the series returns Friday night. Cannot wait!!!

Dagobah? Is that battle in the new trilogy?

No, it's just in the game.

Speaking of BSG, we should schedule a marathon so us poor fools chez Rancho Huevo can feel the love.

Chris and I are gone from the 18th to the 24th, or thereabouts, so it would have to be the last weekend...

Actually, let me check the calendar with Chris. I think the last weekend of the month is free. I will have to make sure, though.
