After last night's mini-Mabon ritual I just couldn't resist. :) Last night just felt magical, I walked around the block and the colors of the sky were just magnificent at sunset. I nearly tripped a few times because I was too mesmerized by gazing at the blues, oranges, pinks and purples to watch where I was putting my feet.

I gave myself the night off from class an instead indulged myself a bit. I was going to do housework, but Aelf called to say she wouldn't be coming up this weekend so I suddenly had all kinds of time to get it done. So instead I curled up on the futon and read "A
Choriambic Progression"
, a beautiful Snarry story that I highly recommend if you can get past the slash and sex with a 16 year old. Normally I'd avoid the latter like the plague, but this one was so well written I went with it and I'm glad I did, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] rexluscus for pointing me at it, her taste is impeccable. This should tide me over until she finishes her Snape/Karkaroff, [livejournal.com profile] ravenmb finishes "Living in Sin", and [livejournal.com profile] caligryphy finally posts more "A Soft Place to Sleep", which I hope she'll add to soon. It can't be soon enough.

This weekend will be devoted (at least in part) to housework, the other part to crafting and a little time set aside for washing my car (which is filthy) and going to see "The Corpse Bride" (which looks adorable). Aside from that and donating blood I intend to catch up on sleep and relax a little. If I can fit in some exercise that wouldn't be a bad thing either.

Whoops...yeah, I forgot to mention the chan part. Sorry. :) Great story, though, huh? The writer's e-mail address seems to be dead, so I can't tell her. Blast.

Snape/Karkaroff is coming along. I'm thinking Monday.

I suspect she's around somewhere on LJ if nothing else. Hmm, if I have any time I'll do some investigation...
