So has Ray Borque joined the mafia, or does he just shop in the same stores as the Sopranos? I caught him last night on the tube over at tersa's and just kept expecting him to start talking with a thick Sicilian accent. I'm wondering what the French Canadian mob would leave in the beds of their victims. Bacon? Beer? Cheap cigarettes?

Had a great time at SWM last night and dutifully pestered the princess regarding getting in touch with elo_sf so he can get that kimono made. I feel like I should be making more of an effort to get in touch with nimiriel and filidh regarding the drawing I owe them, but it might be a good idea to get the afghan I'm working on done first. My goal is to finish it tonight so I can take it and the one for John's nephew to the post office tomorrow morning.

And speaking of tomorrow, I'm off to Egypt...well, kinda, the Rosicrucian Museum anyway. Can't believe I've lived in the area for over two years now and haven't ever gotten over there. Bad me.

Also tomorrow is Gypsy Baron which I'm really looking forward to. Haven't been to a show since "Kiss Me Kate" and I'm jonesing for live theater. It's a really good thing there's no longer a Phantom touring company up in SF, I'd go broke seeing it every weekend.

I couldn't figure out why my jacket smelled like french fries today until I remembered the tempura-fest last night. Then my sleep deprived brain went, "Oh yeah, that would explain it." A trip through the laundry, or at least the drier with some nice smelling fabric sheets would not be a bad idea.

Oh and allow me to publically thank aelf for the Frodo goodness last night. I now have a Frodo kite and a little Frodo tin to add to the collection. I sometimes feel she's become my "supplier", soon she'll be stashing items in the inner pockets of her trenchcoat and whispering, "C'mon, you *know* you want it." If she manages to score a life-sized, anatomically correct Frodo for me I may have to marry her...

I'm not sure I'd see the point in marrying you if you had a life-sized anatomically correct Frodo. I mean, you'd be busy with that all the time, I'd never get any! ^_~

Oh it'd mostly be for the tax break and of course the cool wedding and reception. And just think of the scads of presents we'd get. Then we import a blonde Russian goalie for you to keep yourself amused with. In other words we'd be a typical Bay Area couple.

If you two hooked up there'd be hearts a-breakin' (and tongues a-lollin') all over the valley. That said, a harem of hockey players can't be all bad... especially if any of them like to dress up as Frodo.

Nyah-ha-ha. It's just that I was saying not that long ago that he was kinda funny-looking, from his starter picture. And suddenly I'm desperately crushing. Feh, all these married or engaged men, it's not fair.
