Since nobody guessed yesterday's quote I thought I'd announce it today...then remembered that nearly every time I do that someone pipes up with, "But I knew that I just hadn't had time to respond yet!" so I will wait one more day and twiddle my thumbs, but tomorrow I announce it, dammit.

I just gave in and rescheduled my blood donation appointment. Going into Alyne's veil workshop on Sunday with a sore arm is just asking for trouble. Well, that and my once a month mild case of anemia has set in. *sigh* Ah well, at least I was good and immediately scheduled another the following Saturday. I can cope with a sore arm at a Sharks game easily enough and the guilt revolving around not having donated since [livejournal.com profile] h0h0's surgery last year will finally be alleviated.

So, the housemate and I have been discussing the oft-mentioned, but as yet unscheduled housewarming event. We have tentatively picked a date, October 26 and would like to hear back from folks regarding it. Is this a bad day for anyone? Are there any other big bashes scheduled for that weekend? Any events we're not cognizant of? Please speak up because we'd very much like you all to attend!

Wow, I have absolutely 0 energy this morning, good thing I got all my yardwork done last night. Both front and back mowed and the entire lawn well watered. I'll try to get the back watered well again tonight and tomorrow so maybe it won't be quite such a tinderbox on Saturday.

Blah. Think I'll just zone out and stare at the monitor for a bit.

Not that I would expect you to reschedule your party because of it, but that night is the Fall Art Auction at the gallery where I work. I don't know if you were planning on having the party at night or during the day.

Well we're thinking starting in the afternoon and then continuing into the evening to make life easier on everyone (more time to attend = more possible attendees). Would you be able to come in the afternoon?

I would probably be able to stop by for a while. :) Thanks.

Da quote

I have no idea if I'm correct, but it sounds like something that could easily have been in "Salome's Last Dance".

And I am surprisingly and fortunately free so far on the 26th. I have nothing in my calendar whatsoever for it.

Wow, I have absolutely 0 energy this morning, good thing I got all my yardwork done last night.

Hey, maybe there's a correlation... ;)

Today's quote or yesterday's, hon? In either case I'd have to say you're quite cold on this one.

Hey, you're free on the 26th, yay! It sounds as if we may have just chosen wisely, the one free Saturday in 2002 *G*

And yardwork doesn't usually wipe me out the following day. I think it's more that anemia thing I was talking about. But the Frappaccino I allowed myself this morning seems to be doing the trick. Yay caffeine!

I only know it's "Der Name Der Rose" because I never forgot the name Adso von Melk. First time I ever saw Christian Slater.
(Yay! Home now! *hug*)
