May. 19th, 2005 08:41 amLost chat was a great success, though it veered off into the silly and naughty very quickly :) Thanks to everyone who participated in it and we hope to see you all next week for the finale as well.
Ok, so this show has now officially become the most cool ever with the addition of pirates. Even dead pirates count on the cool factor. "The Black Rock" indeed, oh what a lovely reveal! Now if they can just work in ninjas I'll be the happiest girl in the world.
Loved this ep to bits, which is good 'cause we've had a few lame ones over the past few weeks. Seeing all the flashbacks tying people together was lovely. The utterly slashable Jack/Sawyer scene where Sawyer (er, James) tells Jack about his dad forgiving him, had me typing "Kiss him!" over and over again. Jeez, a manly hug would've sufficed, but all that UST just hung there like a heavy mist making it hard for me to focus on the dialogue.
The messages in a bottle were great, the goodbyes sweet (particularly Sun and Jin reconciling, which had us all chorusing, "Awwww"), and the Black Smoke quite intimidating. We even had an appearance from the Invisible Monster, which has all but been confirmed by Crazy French Lady to be an honest to gods mechasaur. Sweet! Oh and Locke seems to have taken on a new Padawan in Hurley, now that should be interesting.
And next week things go boom, but will they actually manage to open up the hatch? Guess we'll have to wait and see.
Ok, I need to go post some fic and read some SW Ep III reviews...
