So first, I missed Lost last night. Well, let me revise that and say I missed all but the last 15 minutes of Lost last night. If I were virtuous I would have just walked away from the tv so I could watch a recording of the entire thing (thanks Aelf!) but, we all know by this point that virtue and I parted ways many years ago.

So Jin too had some daddy issues, though his pop seems to be an all around great guy. Just po' and lower class and so Jin didn't feel he could introduce Sun to him. Fair enough. Loved his advice to take the girl away to America and start over. Nice.

Speaking of starting over, Sun wants to but Jin says it's too late. Why? I've no idea. I'm sure it'll all become clear once I've seen the rest. Still, hey, two more single folks on the island, woo! Poor Jin's got the short end of the stick on this one, though, as most of the free gals have already been spoken for.

Walt set the raft on fire and Locke knows, somehow this doesn't surprise me at all. The only question is, did Walt do it with his freaky mind powers?

Sayid is hooking up with skanky incest ho. *sigh*

And hey another Hurley musical moment to round things out. But I was sitting there wondering what he's using to power that cd player with, Duracell (tm) cold fusion cells? Then the music cuts off abruptly and I giggle madly. Hmm, wonder if they're rechargeables, if so he might be able to cut a deal with Crazy French Lady (who, if I'm not mistaken, seems to be appearing in the next ep- or at least it looks like her gun will). Also was that Damien Rice singing or am I on crack?

Next week the Boys Adventure Club sets off to explore the Jungle of Mystery. Will they discover that the invisible island monster is actually just mean old Mr. McGregor who wanted to chase all of them off the island so he could build an amusement park there, and he would've gotten away with it too if not for those nosey plane crash survivors? Enquiring minds want to know.

So the Feldenkrais class was fascinating, kind of like a guided meditation more than an exercise course. I've done a lot of this kind of work before without even knowing it, but the sudden awareness and balance at the end of it still took me slightly by surprise. The movements we did were quite simple and I was astonished to see how quickly moving just my legs and hips could effect things like my neck and shoulders. Also I started out being quite aware that I was favoring my left side (I always do) but by the end I was completely balanced. If I can find any books on the subject I may pursue it further, but at the very least I want to continue with the moves I learned last night. The change in something as simple as a hip circle after just 45 minutes was astonishing. I can definitely see how this will help my dancing, and that's very exciting.

She's gonna have to check with her housemate on that one. I hear he's not partial to visitors.

How about if I promise to be very quiet, not make a mess and stay off the lawn?

Hrmm. That might start to soften his curmudgeonly exterior. I suspect that he could be appeased, given time and cajolerey.
