More On Demand goodness last night as Adult Swim is finally including episodes of "The Venture Brothers" in its offerings. Hooray! Last night was episode 1 with the evil Monarch (Dr. Venture's wannabe nemesis) and it damn near killed me. Having fallen in love with the Brock Samson character my only regret is not modeling my Viking pirate Hav after him. Swedish murder machine indeed :)

Also discovered that On Demand now has, I shit you not, video dating included. Of course I had to look through some of them, I mean who could resist that? The descriptions were pretty much what you'd expect and the videos featured a bunch of nervous, uncomfortable people attempting to appear cool, calm, and non-desperate. I quickly got bored of that, though, and started watching animation instead.

I was almost late to class due to insane amounts of traffic on 85 and having to stop dead several times. But I got there just in time and Alyne showed us some videos that she found inspirational when doing choreographies. The Hula was my favorite, if I could look half as poised and confidant during a performance I would be extremely pleased. We continued to tinker with Hinko and added in the new stuff to make sure it all worked with the music, which it did the second time around. I'm glad we worked on that rather than anything really grindy on my feet, even Raqs Suhaila would've been a bit too much I think.

Passed out shortly after arriving home and woke up several times to find myself wedged between two warm kitties. At 4 am I finally kicked them both off so I could spread out a bit. When I awoke again around 6 they were both curled up tightly against me once more. *sigh* Persistence, thy name is feline.

Oh, my big news is that I just purchased two tickets for the Sunday May 1 matinee premiere of the musical "Lennon". They're balcony, but center, and row E so not too shabby. I have no particular plan for the second ticket, so I'm leaving it up for grabs. If anyone's interested leave a comment.

That's neat about On Demand finally adding it to the Line-up I'll have to warn Larissa I think there are a couple of episodes we've missed TiVo-ing. I don't get the whole Aqua Teen Hunger Force thing...it's too random I much prefer my animated series to have clever and weird zingers instead of the stuff that's funny cause it's so off center. Mom will be so jealous of your Lennon tickets! You'll have to grab her one of everything merchandise wise!

I was actually thinking of checking out flight tickets and getting her out here to see it as an early Mother's Day gift, but don't say anything to her yet, ok?

That is a great idea but make sure you can wrangle her away from the kids you know how she can be a real stickler for not leaving parents in a lurch in order to have fun herself. I was thinking of looking into grabbing tickets when it hits NYC for her so if the California thing does not work out we can always do that for her as well.
