I have been on hold with AT&T wireless for almost half an hour. This after being on hold for 15 minutes, then being told I needed to call a different number. Now I'm on hold for another 15 minutes just waiting to put in an authorization on an account transfer. Why, tell me why, do they not put this stuff up on the web? Gah!

Ahem, I feel much better now.

Ok, so a big heartfelt thank you to [livejournal.com profile] crobderg for coming over to walk with me last night. I enjoyed your company immensely and hope we can turn this into a weekly thing! Also thanks to [livejournal.com profile] princessmei and [livejournal.com profile] cyranocyrano for dropping in to play with the kitty. She may not have seemed like it, but she was overjoyed to have folks to play with her. She'd been rather depressed earlier when she couldn't get me to sit down and do so. Poor Kage, she leads such a hard life }:)

And for those interested in a viewing of XXX, how does Tuesday evening sound? If I get a good number of responses I'll put up a number of theater choices we can vote on, otherwise Her Highness-ness and I may just have to choose for you. Also pipe in with a preferred time if you've got one, we're thinking 8-ish, probably at Mercado unless lots of folks chime in otherwise.

I have a butt-load of chores staring me in the face tomorrow, but I'm going to be organized and determined about completing them. Mowing, weed-whacking, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom and sweeping the front living room must be completed if I am to take my "Relaxing Saturday" (tm). I may play a little Half Life that day in addition to reading and lounging, but I find first person shooters oddly relaxing in their own way too. Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] crobderg if you have the desire to join us I can send you the info, we usually start around 1 in the afternoon or so on Saturdays. I could definitely use a ringer on my side as I'm always rather pathetic at these games.

Mmmm, am being tempted to Menara on Sunday night. I *shouldn't*, but damn I really want to go. Getting to see Una dance twice in as many days might be more than my heart can take, but I have to admit it'd be a helluva way to go. Must decide. Anyone want to play angel or devil and pull me one way or another?

I'm actually looking forward to getting back to work on my veil tonight, how sick is that? There's just something very relaxing about gaming and crafting at the same time, my hands stay busy while my brain focuses on the adventure. It's nice. But I'm starting to yearn to return to drawing for a while so this may be the last project outside of Craft Night that I work on. Speaking of which I may be doing something mad and conceiving a beaded bra and belt set and attempting to create it. I'm looking for themes and color scheme ideas. My first concept was a woodland theme of browns and greens with perhaps leafy motifs. Anybody have any other suggestions?

I'd go on Tuesday, but I think I may have plans that night. :(

And is the quote from The Dark Crystal? It sounds like something that Aughra said to Jen.

If your plans should fall through please join us, I'll keep the plans up on my LJ as soon as we finish making them.
And nope, but you're *very* close on the quote. Think animated...

The only thing I can think of would be The Last Unicorn, but that doesn't sound right for some reason. I could be wrong though. It's been a million and six years since I've seen it.

Oh, duh. I'm stupid. Secret of N.I.M.H. Ugh. One of my favorite books of all time, and I screw that up. Bad me.

I'm going to shamelessly leap in and steal the gold star. The Secret of NIMH. Which is hilarious for me on so many many levels.

Sorry, dear, but I got his message mere seconds before you, so I'm going to award you a co-gold star if you don't mind }:)

*grin* Yay, co-gold-star! It's a good one for me, too, because of one character. Jeremy the Crow. My name is Jeremy and Dom Deluise is one of my favorite actors. It's all about the win-win on this. Except Jeremy the Crow is dumb dumb dumb. Though, I do like sparklies. :)

Well, it's fun for me because I work in psych research, currently funded by NIH. So the bad thing that was NIMH in the book/film is at this point a very real part of my life (and not such a bad thing after all). Hee.
