*giggle* More Boromir madness:

Yahoo seems to be having more issues this morning, so again if email is scarce or late, blame them, not me.
Got some rehearsal in last night and was reminded why I hate dancing Hinko in our "Silk Road" costumes. Tucking the veils is damn near impossible and I flubbed it several times. *sigh* Well at least the crowds at Straw Hat are usually kind so I'm not going to worry too much. Still...*sigh again*
Quick shout outs, first to
silkblade, best of luck with your surgery today! Second,
elo_sf are we still on for dinner tomorrow? And
tersa when you get the chance drop me an email about tomorrow.

Re: Greetings from a stranger...
Date: 2005-01-24 04:57 pm (UTC)Hi, always nice to meet new folks. Did you find our phantom_kay community yet? It's just getting started and we could use some folks to fill it up if you're interested.
Second, I've a question about your Erik icon. Where did that Phantom image come from? It's so true to Leroux's/Kay's Phantom. I've never seen anything like it.
Ah, Hildebrandt did an illustrated version of the original Leroux novel and that's one of the illos from it. Lemme see if I can find the link to the others...
Yep, there we are: http://www.angelfire.com/realm/venus307/ghart.htm
Third, you have a Spaced icon!!!!!!! Fear....pain....Oh, man, Spaced! Tim Bisley, you are my extra special imaginary boyfriend 4-eva.
Heh.
Hee, mine too, believe me. Have you got a copy of the boxed set? I just did from a friend who visited London and it is so worth it! The best bit is the "homage-o-meter" that runs as a subtitle during each episode telling you what show or movie they're referencing in each scene. It kicks serious ass.
Thanks, and apologies for the intrusion.
No apologies necessary, in fact you just made my morning :)
I am such a jerk!
Date: 2005-01-30 10:04 pm (UTC)I'm not realling joining any communities at this time. I don't really have much to contribute anymore on my own, but I like responding to people and reading what they have to say, so I like perusing the different LJ communities. I have been enjoying the reading, though.
And it's always a joy to come across a fellow Spaced fan. What a gem of a show that was, and Shaun of the Dead did NOT disappoint.
Thanks for helping me with the images. I'd been going crazy trying to find good ones and you put an end to my search. I really appreciated it, even though it took me this long to say so.
