Apparently my body has decided that a week's hiatus is sufficient and that it really misses dancing and would like to do more of it again, please. As this jibes perfectly with my brain's desires I am very happy. I made it through the entire routine last night without falling over or knocking into anyone, go me!
Rehearsals didn't let out until 10, which meant I got home around 10:30. Had to stay a bit later to loan one of the gals a veil from among my new stock of organzas. I think I should come up with a rule regarding how many veils is too many or I'm going to be buried under a pile of them soon. I will admit I do want a copper/bronze one and a black in addition to what I already have, but that's it. Really. I can stop any time I want.
We spent about an hour or so at the beginning working on makeup for the gig. I was once again reminded that I suck when it comes to makeup application, and that my supply is rather pitiful really. Will be making a stop at Long's this evening to do something about that. Then I pick up my costume, have a final fitting done, and I get to collapse. Well, that is if I get my belt finished during my lunch break today. Fingers crossed.
Dress rehearsals and pictures tomorrow, then apparently there's a gig Friday night for those who are interested (I think I'll pass), then DDF this weekend. And after that I get to relax for a while and reintroduce myself to a good many people I haven't seen in the past month or so :)
