Sadly there's just not that much going on right now, so nothing much to report I'm afraid. Lots of puttering around the apartment and getting stuff done, but that's about it. Did get some writing done last night as ideas are coming fast and furious for a novella length fic that is HOUNDING ME NEAR TO DEATH. Still so much research to do, but I've been wanting to hit the library in MV anyway so this is as good an excuse as any I suppose.

The end is in sight as far as Golden Sun is concerned. The baddies are getting tougher and tougher (even the mooks) and I'm attempting to navigate a lighthouse so there can't be much more left. Also I've got all but I think 3 of the djinni possible. Annoyed that I don't have the others yet, but still hopeful that I'll stumble upon them somewhere. I wish I could find another RPG I like as much as this series, I'll be sad when it's over.

Tonight we have less a class than a rehearsal with S- running the show while Alyne is out of town. She'll work us hard, which is good, but probably won't know much about the performance on Friday so I'll need to attend class Thursday as well. Not that I'm concerned about Friday's gig, surprisingly enough I'm not, but I would like to know what all we're doing and in what order. If we're just doing live music then my guess would be "Tammerhenna" and that's about it. I am adament about not doing veils there, though, there's just not enough space and the floor is too uneven. It's not bad when you're just dancing, but all the spinning required for veil work just sucks.

Watched the end of Prime Suspect last night and came to the conclusion that I've got it bad for David Thewlis. I even find his overbite adorable. Jesus. If I weren't so dead set against dating I'd say I needed a S.O. in the worst possible way, otherwise I'm going to keep crushing on characters and actors and that just ain't right. At least he's legal, that's a step in the right direction I suppose.

Dunno how to quote yet. And the problem with crushing on characters and actors is...? Especially if you don't have a S.O. and aren't likely to in the near future? Even more so if he's legal. I have more of a problem with people who *do* have a S.O. and can't stop crushing on unattainable people. :)

Ultimately I suppose it's not quite as fulfilling as, you know, a real relationship might be. Or at least, that's what I hear ;)

From what I hear, it depends very much on who the real relationship is with. I have one friend who vastly prefers "men on paper" to "real men", and I personally know very few people who are happily married or coupled. Then again, if you meet the right person, I would hope it would be better than fantasy!
