I've got Gary Coleman singing stuck in my head today. I blame elo_sf, though I'm sure he'll just be smug about it. We got to have a yummy dinner on Castro St. and then hang out for a bit listening to a Broadway musical soundtrack and giggling madly. Briefly saw and waved at tamago and her hubby as E- and I strolled along listening to and laughing hysterically at "Avenue Q". I'm sure they thought we looked like a couple of escaped looneys :)

Zoomed home afterwards and got the watering of plants taken care of while marveling at how windy and cool it had become. After Tuesday's heatwave it was really wacky. Kind of reminded me of home. It was nice, though, real "cape weather". Aelf caught me up on her apartment hunting efforts and I realized I need to start doing the same. Craigslist, here I come.

Then I settled in and re-read a couple of HP fanfics that make me very happy indeed, one incredibly funny and plausible Snape/Lupin and one about Lupin having a heart to heart talk with a young man who's just been bitten by a werewolf. Good stuff, but it always leaves me wanting more. If anyone's got some good HP fanfic suggestions I'm all ears.

I think elo_sf is making me a copy of the soundtrack, but I'd be fascinated to hear a mix tape including stuff from it. I'm considering making a slash mix for a couple of friends to help get their fanfic writing juices going and including the song "If You Were Gay". :)
