Best 15 Minute Van Helsing summary ever. If I hadn't already decided I could skip this movie, this certainly would've been the clincher. Do not drink and read, trust me. Many thanks to cyranocyrano for pointing me here!

So not sure I even want to watch tonight's game *shudder* Figured I'd wear a pentacle today, a little religion certainly couldn't hurt at this point.

Oh and also many thanks to silkblade for giving me some rowing tips. The slower stroke definitely helped me make it through the whole routine. Did discover a painful muscle on the lower side of my upper left arm that made exercising less pleasant, but I toughed it through. Also tried to do the bits I knew from Tammerhanna drum solo and came to the conclusion that I continue to suck at it. Good thing I don't have any big dance-related ambitions or else this would crush me. As long as I can do it well enough not to look like a complete idiot I'll be satisfied.

I have to say that the hype surrounding Van Helsing reminds me entirely too much of the hype surrounding Godzilla.

And the CG effects reminded me disturbingly of "The Hulk".
