Sep. 3rd, 2008 07:51 pmOk the universe seriously needs to let me get some shit done today. I was doing reasonably well until I got home and the cats got all clingy. Then Pye managed (and please don't ask me how) to get his claw stuck inside my desktop tower. That almost turned ugly but fortunately he's learned to trust me enough to let me work it
free for him. He looked so absolutely miserable all contorted on the floor with his claw stuck. He didn't even cry, though, my brave little toaster.
Then I'm flipping through the channels and stumble upon the subbed version of Crouching Tiger right before the fight in the inn, and well that was that, you know? You just can't fight fate.
On the plus side I did manage to get the kitty water fountain that I've been vowing I'd buy since my nice Sikh vet suggested it would be a good idea for Pye. And I'm getting some laundry done between really good scenes in CTHD. But I suspect that's going to be about it for tonight.
Aw hell, they're playing a Sonny Chiba movie (Karate for Life) next? Godammit!
