Mar. 25th, 2008 11:31 amGot lots done this weekend, including an Easter Spectacular with Aelf and the gang while we ate chocolate bunnies and lambs, bunny shaped oatmeal cookies, sugar free cupcakes and deviled eggs. We also watched the ultimate high concept Easter double feature, Night of the Lepus/Black Sheep. We had great fun, though mostly Night of the Lepus was fun because we kept up a continuous stream of MST3King and we had just the right crowd to do it.
Went up to the city to do an interview and while I thought it went mostly well I didn't get the feeling that the person interviewing me was all that impressed. Or at least that she had any idea where I could fit into their company. They seemed to be on the market for sales people, but it wasn't clear that I'd be at all appropriate, and to be honest the idea of schlepping up there every day of the week didn't appeal all that much. But it's always a good idea to go and interview and see what happens. At worst it's good practice for something that might be a better fit.
Still I have to admit that heading into my 4th week of unemployment I'm starting to get more than a little frustrated and disappointed. Continuing to send out daily resumes and continuing to hear nothing back even when I feel like I'm a really good fit for a position. I'm beginning to think about just taking some kind of freelance work or even fucking retail just to get myself back out there and working again. Fortunately today
moonlightnrain told me about TiVo paying $50 for some usability testing so I'm going to go earn a little spending cash. I'm seriously considering spending some of it on a haircut of some sort, I just don't know what kind.
After that I've got some errands to run and I think there's a Sharks away game tonight...
