Over the side, men!
Jul. 3rd, 2006 08:29 pmSorry, no time to post earlier, busy weekend and busy Monday to boot. Currently I'm watching Errol Flynn buckle some swash in The Sea Hawk and giving myself leave to update before I get back to tidying up for my sisters' arrival tomorrow. Luckily, as it'll be July 4th and they'll be arriving after noon I can afford to be a bit leisurely about my preparations.
Good thing too as something I ate yesterday made me a very unhappy camper today. Along the lines of, "Oh sweet, merciful gods just let me die before my intestines explode!" Yikes. Whatever it was I vow to never touch the stuff ever again in this lifetime. Nothing is worth that kind of pain.
But, on a lighter note, Friday evening was lovely, as we had our first Dr. Who and a Nice Cup of Tea night, watching "Robots of Death" and sharing a variety of different teas we'd all brought along to share. Saturday was dancing in the morning and a nice, quiet, relaxing evening for me. And Sunday, of course, was the absolutely gorgeous wedding of
wildpaletz and
senatorhatty. There just couldn't have been a prettier day or setting, and everyone agreed the bride's gown was the most beautiful they'd ever seen.
I'd have to say, though I am biased, that "Cylon-Occupied (and Radioactive!) Caprica" was the true party table, though I still insist that I was wrongly accused of being the obligatory cylon simply by virtue of my hair color. Totally unfair.
