Gong hey fat choy!
Feb. 9th, 2005 09:10 amHappy Chinese New Year everyone! It's the year of the rooster, my zodiac sign, how cool is that? I feel like I should be going out for Chinese rather than Indian tonight, but I've been craving the latter so...
My feet are feeling a good deal better, thank goodness I had last night off to baby them a bit more. Of course I managed to wind up with one of the worst leg cramps I've had in ages, so I took a nice hot shower and climbed into bed early. Good thing I did as I managed to nod off before my upstairs neighbors chose to start vacuuming...at midnight. I can handle them coming home noisily after ten each night, but that was way out of line. Oh how I cannot wait to get out of this apartment.
On the auto front I'll be taking mine in next week to have the paint where it was keyed repaired before I turn it back in. I'll have to rent a car, but I got a good price for the week so no complaining. Sadly, there will be no Echo for me as they're not currently available in Northern California. Instead I'll be checking into Hondas, particularly the Civic Coupes, which actually have more standard features and get almost as good a gas mileage as the Echo. And it just so happens there's a dealer across the street from me at work, which is just too convenient to pass up. I can at least run over after work sometime and take a test drive.
