Feb. 1st, 2005 08:37 amI had a bit of a Tasty Bites accident at Whole Foods last night, but I contend that it was mostly to make up for the fact that they had no cinnamon rolls available. Fortunately, I stocked up last week just in case. I am a clever monkey. Anyway, I'm now up to my ears in yummy Indian food that will keep for several months, this makes me happy.
Also got the new memory for my laptop and it is so much faster. However, now I've got some display weirdness going on, and it won't let me change it. It kinda looks like it's running in safe mode only it's not. I'll fiddle around with it more tonight. My wireless router should be here today or tomorrow, and I got some more memory for my desktop which should ship today. Soon I should have a couple of well running computers in my home, yay!
I am having way too much fun with the On Demand stuff via Comcast. Watched an INXS concert last night then checked out the movie trailers section and watched the one for Merchant of Venice (Pacino and Irons, how can you go wrong?) and SW III which looks almost...good. Although the wookies have me a bit nervous. Is Lucas going to fuck that race over now? *sigh*
No cat fighting last night (Sunday night I ended up with Pye's elbow smacking into my cheekbone when Kage thumped him on the bed), both felines were gracious and shared the bed politely. Kage, however, has become oddly clingy over the past few days. I suspect she's kissing up for soft food, but she's not getting it more than once a week, dammit. She's also been yurking up lots of hairballs which tells me I'm not staying on top of things when it comes to brushing her. Bad monkey.
Oh and my very talented young niece called me up at work to tell me that she'd earned a blue tip on her white belt in karate. She's only been studying a few weeks, so that's pretty impressive. I couldn't be more proud of her, I just hope she sticks to it!
