So I meant to watch all of "Solitary" last night, and did tune in long enough to catch all of the Sayid-torture bits, but I was feeling easily distractable and ended up switching channels every few minutes or so. Because of this I stumbled upon this wack-ass show from the Kremlin of all places. It was this kinda pudgy young Russian tenor singing (I shit you not) "Phantom of the Opera". His "Christine" was a 40 something soprano in one of the most hideous ball gowns I've ever laid eyes on, and with a bad 80's school teacher haircut. Neither had a terribly strong grasp of the English language either. Oh and the stage was covered in dry ice because when you sing PTO it's required by law.

I was, quite literally, reduced to a fetal ball with laughter. I scared my cats I was laughing so hard. Tenor guy was giving it his all, and even sang part of it while on one side of the stage on his knees. Why? Who knows? But the big ending where he turns to the side and uses his hand to represent the mask nearly killed me. Then he kicks into "Besame Mucho" with backup dancers dressed in (again, I cannot make this shit up) leather and leopard skin with black leather/leopard skin hats. Tenor guy starts to shake his groove thing and I switch channels before I pull something laughing.

My only regret is not having had the energy to get up and tape part of it because nobody can truly appreciate how hilarious it was without seeing it.

Got some much needed tidying up done, all my bills paid, ordered a wireless router and more memory for my laptop from eBay and managed to use just money I'd received from a refund on a different item. Now if I can figure out how to install the memory in the laptop I'll be getting somewhere. May go ahead and upgrade my desktop's memory while I'm at it, it's not that expensive and it's been running like shit lately so it's probably time. If I can get all the machines in my place humming along I'll be a happy camper.

Got to bed nice and early last night but spent the evening waking up from one stress dream after another so I'm a bit sleepy today *yawn*
