Woo!
Daily Show coming to DVD!?
Boy I hope this rumor pans out.

Almost didn't make it to class last night as the temptation to stay home and finish up "The Runes of the Earth" was strong. But once I got into my exercise gear I got all excited and happy about going. I'm glad I did it was a pretty relaxed class and most of the troupe was there, which was nice. However, I left class with some nasty back twinges and today I'm definitely feeling some strain back there. Something about Raks Souhaila is just not good for my back. I suspect it's the backwards leg lifts we have to do. I need to strengthen that part of my body in the worst way. If anybody knows any good lower back exercises let me know.

Oh and speaking of exercise, if I don't shed some weight soon I'm not going to be able to look at myself in the mirror again. Last night at class I actually flinched when I saw my reflection. Good god in heaven my body looks horrendous! Now I know my eating isn't totally out of control and I can't afford to shave off too many more calories (I eat a maximum of 1500 calories a day) so it's exercise for me. Additionally, I'd like to start posting to the [livejournal.com profile] dietfolks community and hopefully I can get some good ideas there to help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. Well, aside from sitting on my ass too much. I swear, you hit 35 and losing weight becomes an epic struggle. To all those under that age I implore you to get into good eating and exercise habits before then. Believe me, they will serve you well in the future.

Oh man

This story is just heartbreaking. Anyone who's been a caregiver for a sick or disabled loved one or friend, be prepared to be disgusted. How could anyone with a soul deny this poor girl care? I just don't get it.
