sweetpea_grubb, very cool.
Missed most of the debates getting shit done at home then zooming off to class. Caught a bit on the radio, but it was way too distracting to be yelling, growling or rolling my eyes constantly while driving. Told myself I'd read the transcripts today (which I will), but I ended up getting home so late last night that I figured I'd just stay up a little and check the news. By the time 11 rolled around I switched over to The Daily Show and found that my anger turned into laughter and that Rob Corddry is definitely my favorite of the new batch of faux reporters on the show. His "clinically retarded" line just about floored me, and the back and forth low expectations talking points exchange was classic. Many props to Samantha Bee for her piece on the undecided voters, particularly her furious diatribe at the very end. "What the fuck is wrong with you people? Make up your fucking minds!" Heh.
Class was...interesting, in that we had live music to try to do set routines to and Alyne decided to make things interesting by changing up the patterns we were dancing in. Mass confusion prevailed, but it was fun and challenging so I didn't mind at all. I brought along a copy of "Kama Sutra: A Love Story" to show off pretty costumes and ideas for the Witches Ball performance. We ended up not only deciding on that but the costumes we wanted to wear for next year's DDF. Yeah, we're a little ahead of ourselves but in a fun way. We're also discussing having a movie night of Bollywood films, I feel my work here is done :)
