My brain is currently cycling through the entire score of "Kiss me Kate". I expect it will start over again once I've reached the end, though I pray I can switch tracks before that happens.

I felt wretched most of yesterday, mainly because I pushed myself way too hard the night before and then slept very poorly, and so had no reserves left. Did manage to make it through two more eps ("House of Quark" and "Equilibrium") before giving up and going to bed. I'm not sure when Aelf and her family got in as I was very, very unconscious at the time. Yay sleep!

Would've slept straight through if the wind hadn't kicked up around 2 in the morning and our rodent friend hadn't returned. Even earplugs weren't enough to drown both out. Luckily the worst of it was over by 3 at which point I could roll over and pass out again. And the cats had people in the backroom to amuse them so they didn't even scratch at my door, which was a pleasant change.

This morning I noticed that my wonderful roommate had used her needle nose pliers on the chain of my new pendant. Finally my gift from [livejournal.com profile] mister_sunshine can be worn with pride. I'll take a picture of it on to post (hopefully this weekend). It hangs right between my collarbones on a chain so delicate you almost can't see it. It's gorgeous and fantastic and I intend to show it off to everyone I bump into today.

As I'm going up to PAMF this afternoon, that should be interesting...

Tonight I intend to be lazy and watch more DS9, plus perhaps a bit of crafting, but that's it. Another early night would be a wonderful idea. Then late classes tomorrow, but Friday night free (probably a bit more practice just to make myself feel better), and performance Saturday. Hopefully I'll still have enough energy left to go up to the city on Sunday, we shall see.

Oh, before I forget, this recipe (Spinach Peanut Stew) sounds absolutely to die for. May have to pick up some of the ingredients tonight and give it a try this weekend. Mmm spinach!
