Not too long ago 2 hours of dance class on a single night seemed like a daunting prospect. Now it seems like the norm. When the hell did that happen?

I got home in time from work to sit down with Aelf, share a pizza and watch "The Search" parts 1 & 2. I couldn't quite refrain from booing every time Eddington came onscreen (we hates him!), and warning Aelf that this was "just the beginning".

Then zoomed off to class where I practically had to park in the next county. Alyne is getting very popular. I can remember a time when Aelf and I were the only ones showing up for class (back when We3 was actually a retail store and dance studio). Now there's barely enough room in most of the classes to swing a veil. Even intermediate was full, which isn't too surprising considering there's a performance this weekend I guess.

Worked more on "Tammerhanna", which is going to take me a while to nail, I can feel it. I put on my bedleh belt to practice in it as we did "Tic Tic" and "Princess of Cairo". Both were quite rusty, I'm afraid, I need to drill those a bit more. Fortunately Friday night is the perfect time to do so. Then after the official class we stayed to drill "Goddess" and work out what our placement was going to be in the performance. Complete change from last week, but I adapt. Was startled to be "volunteered" to take point, particularly as my timing was quite off last night. S- and C- seem to think I know what I'm doing, silly girls. Ah well, at least I've gotten good at using peripheral vision to follow my fellow dancers. Managed to mostly synch up with Alyne, which is good.

I was also really pleased to be enthusiastically encouraged to learn and perform "Hinko" at the Inca Gardens gig in late March. Don't know how we're going to do it in what I've heard is a pretty small space, just another of those fun little life challenges I guess. *sigh*

Anyway we didn't get out of class until about 10 and I got to bed around 11. Not terribly bright, but I'm hoping to make up some of the sleep tonight by getting to bed nice and early. We shall see. *yawn*
