"Lady, I'm not a villain, I'm vanilla."
Jan. 22nd, 2004 08:22 amWe've made it through the end of the Tick at last, time to start DS9 which is sure to be a major time sink for months to come. Can we finish it before our lease is up? We shall see.
One amusing LOTR related tidbit, for all the knitters out there:

I shit you not. If anybody over there comes up with a pattern for Pippin's scarf I'd be mighty impressed.
I'm already really looking forward to having the weekend to myself, I'm yearning to do something spiritually oriented. I have vague plans for something in the nature of a spirit quest. Some things from the past I want/need to be rid of, and a mind/body/soul that feels weighted down with the burden of them.
The new year seems as good a time as any to deal with this and hopefully start living a bit healthier and happier. Not that I'm exactly miserable or anything, but I'm not convinced that my life is quite what I want it to be yet. And I don't want to end up spending it always thinking, "It'll be better in a few months, or years." Life is far too short to waste it, and if it isn't what you want it to be it's up to you to do something about it.
