And an icon that made me squee, then laugh aloud:
I got a great deal done in the office yesterday, I like leaving with the feeling that I've actually accomplished something after 8 hours. Then zipped homewards, did my grocery shopping, and had a nice Healthy Choice dinner. The Fettucine Alfredo, I'm happy to say, is no longer ass in that line. And as I was craving it something awful last night, that was a pleasant surprise.
Worked a bit on my drawing until my hand started hurting. I can really tell it's been way too long since I did this with any regularity. And starting with an incredibly detailed piece was probably not my wisest move. Ah well, no pain no gain as they say.
Got to bed nice and early, and miracle of miracles I slept through the night with no interruptions from Pye. Even Kage curled up beside me and actually shared the bed rather than hogging it all. I expect they both heard Aelf and I talking about how wretched they'd been at night lately and decided to cut the monkeys some slack. In any case, sleep, glorious sleep, oh how I've missed you!
Tonight I'm going to get to spend some more time on the Goddess choreography. I really want to master this piece and be able to basically do it in my sleep. Or at least make it look half as effortless as Alyne does. And the motivation of having a possible performance at Host India at the end of February is a good one. I need to set myself more goals and stick to them if I want to get anywhere with veil dancing, and I increasingly find that I do.

jakejr for the first time in ages. And there will be giftage, and getting hers out of the house at last will make me so happy. I hadn't realized quite how much space it was going to take up until it was all bagged up and ready to go. And then I am almost completely done. Just need to lure mister_sunshine over for his gift and then I can mark Xmas 2003 off my to-do list officially. Hooray!
