Finally had a little time on my hands last night that I didn't immediately put to use cleaning or doing other chores. Yeah I could've gone to class, but oh gods I was tired and I felt like it would be kind of a waste of an hour. Instead I vegged, and ultimately I think that was productive in its own way.

Pye got freed to romp around the house and behaved like a little angel. He played with toys, got lots of pets and got to interact with the monkeys most of the late afternoon/evening. He adored the attention and relative freedom, and I think we can start letting him roam while we're at home, hooray!

Of course he tore my bathroom to shreds after we put him in there for the night, but I'm almost getting used to it at this point.

Watched some of the new Animal Cops: Houston and was again astonished by the cruelty and thoughtlessness of humans towards their animal companions. It just continues to boggle my mind.

Then pulled out a tape and showed Aelf a little Battlestar Galactica for reference when the new series starts up, and then we watched the only episode of Voyager (IMHO) that is worth watching, "Message in a Bottle". Why is it worth watching? Well, for one thing most of it doesn't take place on Voyager with its "nails down a chalk board" annoying characters, rather in the Alpha Quadrant with the Doctor taking the spotlight. Why on earth Robert Picardo didn't jump ship on that series is beyond me, but he did redeem an episode or two for me so I guess I can't be annoyed with him.

And because it amused me, cribbed from [livejournal.com profile] kuro_neko's LJ:
Klingons for Dean!

Phantom on Sunday, woo!!!!
