I like breathing, it's fun
Jul. 30th, 2003 09:11 amSo whatever it was in the air yesterday seems to have either gone away or settled down to the earth as I feel almost normal today. Nose is still all red and sore but I can cope with that. On the plus side, doubling up on Benadryl so I could function yesterday knocked me out like a light last night at bedtime. It usually takes me between 1/2 to an hour to fall asleep every night, so being out in about ten minutes was really nice.
Day three: I continue to bask in the glow of no credit card debt. And it appears that all my certified mail to the credit reporting companies has made its way to the proper persons. Think I'll call Citi's customer service just once more to make sure they have their shit together and that's about it. The website does indeed report that they've closed the account and are investigating it so I should have about a month to wait to hear anything back (if at all). In the meantime having paid off everything else feels awfully nice. Now if I could just see the light at the end of the tunnel regarding my student loans...*sigh*
Finally started a drawing for
missjones that Aelf tells me looks ok. Sometimes I get too close to a drawing for too long and I can't tell whether it's good or awful so I either put it away for a few days and then look at it with fresh eyes, or I get another set of eyes on it immediately. I'm not quite confident enough to give it the mirror test, but I think it'll do.
Which reminds me, must get back to updating my website and scanning artwork to add to my "My Art" page. I've been terribly neglectful lately. Of course I also need to find time to dance, which is becoming more and more scarce. Where the hell did all my time go, and what can I do to get it back?
Also on an entirely frivalous note I'm considering getting myself a PDA for Xmas this year. Why, you ask? I suppose I could say to organize my life and keep friends' important info on hand. But the real answer is I just want to be able to download fanfic into it and read it on the road. Yeah, yeah, I know, pathetic uber-geekdom, but hey at least I'm honest about it.
