Jul. 16th, 2003 08:53 amNo news as yet on the credit card fraud issue, been watching my accounts like a hawk ever since, though, and not so much as a blip. My credit reports are all clean too so it looks like someone just got my number and that's that. Will be filing reports with the FTC and BBB, maybe there's a paper trail to the bastard who stole from me, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
Otherwise life seems to have established a nice gentle calm and I am attempting to enjoy it while it lasts. I don't expect that will be for very long.
A couple of public service announcements:
Red Cross disaster fund near depletion
The American Red Cross said Monday that its disaster fund has been nearly depleted, after it spent three times more in aid to victims in the past year than it received in contributions.

( And behind the cut a rather more lengthy plea from a local magazine that I think is worth reading and supporting. )
Oh and I'm looking for a good powdered sports drink mix that I can start using in dance class rather than just drinking water. Water's great, no question, but I'm easily polishing off nearly a liter at a time given the chance both during and after class. And that's just counting what I'm drinking around class time. Putting a few electrolytes and such back in doesn't seem like a bad idea considering how hard we work ourselves these days. So any and all suggestions welcome.
