Today my goal is to channel Wolverine, I wanna mess shit up and anything that gets in my way gets shredded. I feel this is probably the most productive mindset for dealing with our wretched realtor later on. I considered Kali, but thought that might be a bit more dangerous...for him.
Went house "looking" last night and was not terribly impressed by the selection. The most interesting of the 3 we saw was one in Cupertino. It was the largest and had a yard that made my inner gardener squee, "Oh, joy!" It was fucking huge! I mean double our current yard or more, and no less than 6 full grown fruit trees that I counted. No grass to speak of, but sprinklers, and it could be re-seeded. Semi-covered patio, partial basement (yes, you read that correctly), and good sized living room. The downside, it was right across the street from a Denny's, had only one parking space, and the entire front living room was covered, floor to ceiling, in the most hideous green and white tile I've ever laid eyes on. I glanced inside and couldn't bite back an exclamation of, "Oh my god!"
So, no luck there, but all 3 were definitely in our price range, the low end no less, so we might go back and check them out again to look at the interior. That is, if we don't re-sign our lease tonight. At this point I'm inclined to think that staying put might be our best option, but I have a bad feeling about how things are going to go down tonight. Perhaps I'm just going through a pessimistic stage, but I don't trust that realtor any farther than I could throw him.

After we get that settled there will be class, so I can dance off the lingering ickiness that that guy always leaves me with. Then there will be more practicing as Aelf and I were very naughty last night and watched "On the Town" instead of dancing. Hearing her exclaim, "Holy shit!" when she saw Ann Miller dance for the first time was deeply gratifying. My inner musicals geek is rather delighted to be able to lure another poor soul into its world. Mwah-ha-ha.
