eilonwey and silkblade for not showing up last night, as I was about to walk out the door Kage decided it would be fun to smear her feces all over the kitchen floor and the nice white carpet in the back room. I stood there watching her do it and had to physically restrain myself from chasing her. My mantra was, "If you chase her she'll hide under a bed. Do you really want to clean this up from under one of your beds?" The answer was no, so I sighed and grabbed the cleaning supplies. Good thing I was planning to steam clean this weekend anyway.
Have you ever had a weekend where you looked at your "To Do" list and realized there was just no fucking way it was all getting done? It's a very depressing experience, let me assure you.
Did get some stuff done last night as I vowed that if I were going to miss class I was at least going to get some cleaning out of the way. So the kitchen floor looked great, and after scrubbing the back room carpet it was decent. Then vacuumed, and organized my full to overflowing shelving unit in my bedroom. Even got a bit of work done on my costume, I may just have the silly thing done by Halloween after all.
Watched a couple of SG episodes with Aelf, which brightened both our moods considerably. Mmm, snarky Daniel.
Also did get tix for Trilogy Tuesday which I think is going to be running in the IMAX theater given what I've heard of the seating for it. Also apparently a New Line rep is going to be there handing out some sort of special goodie for attendees. I know lots of folks didn't get tickets for this, so I hope we can plan at least an ROTK viewing at some point that week for everyone to attend together.
And tonight is Bubba Hotep at the Camera 7. Bruce Campbell playing Elvis fighting an ancient Egyptian evil. How on earth can one pass that up? I am somewhat annoyed, though, that while the press on the BH site claimed it was only going to be playing for one night at Camera 3, it turns out it will be at Camera 7 all week. Ah well.
