I don't need this bedleh set even though it would fit me well nigh perfectly. Nope. Really. Only $120? *whimper* No, I shouldn't, DDF is only two weeks away and these are the same people who screwed me over about the commissioned bedleh I wanted. So they don't deserve my money anyway, right? Right?

I think part of the reason it's so tempting right now is that I'd dearly like something fun and silly, something girly and sparkly, something to make me feel pretty again. It's been such a long time, and I feel like the years when someone would actually want to see me in such a get-up are quickly slipping through my fingers. I didn't have the guts in my 20's to wear such a thing, but I'll find them in my 30's, dammit.

And I get paid today...*sigh*...I think I might just be doomed.

But it's Friday at last, and I have a lazy weekend ahead of me. Well, ok, by my definition a "lazy" weekend, which will undoubtedly include lots of housework and crafting and my volunteering on Sunday. But aside from some quick errands, that's it. And this is the last lazy weekend for the month so I intend to enjoy it. I will get lots and lots of crafting done, this is my vow. If I could get at least one project put to bed I'll feel really good, really accomplished.

Got to watch Aelf's copy of the original "The Thing", which I haven't seen in years and years and enjoyed it just as much as always. Damn but they knew how to make a good horror flick back in the day. And pointing out some of the cliches and elements of the film that got used in a good many horror flicks after it was fun. I just love the mad scientist in that one, he totally rocks, I need to play a character like that someday. "Sure you've just slaughtered a bunch of my colleagues and are undoubtedly here to conquer the planet, but you're so much wiser than we are, let's communicate and be friends!" I suspect his character would last about 10 minutes in a modern horror film.

Is the email address currently listed for them on their seller account the same one you did earlier?

You could send them email with the subject line being this particular auction number, and mention you're interested in it, but want to know the status of your custom order.

Sneaky, yes, but they may be more likely to respond if it's associated with a current eBay auction. :P (Before you're obligated to shell out money.)
