Altogether too predictable sometimes

You must be a pervy Hobbit fancier if you use your
Hobbit for this sort of thing. Need I say more?

Oh and I forgot to mention that I got my box-o-phantom goodness on Saturday and spent a good portion of the evening introducing Aelf to the campy Ken Russell videos for MOTN and POTO, plus a variety of live recordings. She had similar impressions to myself on many and was highly entertained by the Japanese one (which was crystal clear, very high quality for a bootleg).
One more thing before I forget it too, am now very much interested in buying airline tickets for the family to come out and visit and am looking for suggestions regarding the best way to find a good rate. So far the best I've found is via cheaptickets.com. Anyone know if it's possible to get a better deal with a travel agent?

shocking. If you owned a Hobbit I could see you
using it as someone to beat on.

Considering hobbits are such obvious bottoms... ehem, never mind! ;-)
In re: travel - if your family is near one of the airports served by Northwest or Southwestern, both airlines have some amazingly low fares. Southwestern even has flights to upstate NY.
Hotwired is also good, but you have no choice as to times, just as with priceline.com. We've used priceline twice in the past, once on short notice and the fares we got were shockingly good. Example: going from LA to PA for under $200 total roundtrip... for two adults. We had to leave at dark o'clock in the morning, but the cost was worth it.
