Even more ROTK goodness:
PJ re-releasing first two LOTR films in theaters before ROTK comes out!
Dude, I am so there.
And oh my god I need this:
Pretty, non-spoilerish ROTK Frodo poster
They're taking pre-orders, gods help me. This particular pose/expression is really pinging my inner art historian. I've seen something decidedly similar in the past. I'll think of it at some point. Hmm. Anyway, I think I need to go ahead and order this puppy. Mmm, pretty suffering Hobbitses.
Can I just say that there is very little better in this world than sipping a mocha frappaccino while looking at pretty suffering Hobbitses? Double "mmm".
Why, pray, am I induling in said frappaccino? Well I woke up around 2:30 in the morning and then every time I looked at the clock it was one hour later. Yeah, one of *those* nights. And Kage decided to be needy and hog the bed again. Pye weighs nearly nothing at all, when he lays on me I barely notice. Now when Kage does it, I'm pinned. Particularly now, she's been scarfing as much of Pye's food as she can get away with and it shows on her figure, sadly. Yesterday she went bugnuts as Aelf left the box of catfood in the bathroom on the floor and Kage said, "Yoink!" Half the box was gone by the time we got home. She's on such a binge, I'm really hoping not to be on the receiving end of a purge. I expect it won't be long before she figures out where the catfood is being kept and how to accesss it while we're away. So we're probably investing in some sort of plastic container for it. *sigh*
Class was...interesting last night. Alyne decided to get a bit experimental with us and most of us were deeply puzzled. Still we gave it our best shot, and while our improv stuff left something to be desired, we got to do PoC which made me very happy indeed. And I got to dance it again with Alyne (insert animated hearts here), and undoubtedly looked like a complete idiot, grinning foolishly at her. Ran it a second time and Alyne actually goofed up the beginning and whispered, "Sorry, don't follow me!" It's sometimes nice to be reminded that she is, in fact, a mere mortal like the rest of us.
Sadly, Babbi forgot the tape so we must wait until Monday for it, which postpones my sending a box home until then. Ah well, just a few days to wait.
The kitties were mostly good last night, though Pye was acting awfully skittish, particularly around
esmerel. He's usually much better behaved, and quite friendly so I don't know what was up with him. He did let me give him a dry bath later on which improved his coat (and smell) immeasurably. I think the poor guy has really dry skin/fur for the most part, and if he goes too long without a bath he sheds a lot. Must make that a weekly habit, he's a great deal more pet-able today, that's for sure.
Oh, and still employed.

Date: 2003-08-22 10:46 am (UTC)Kind of reminds me of Adam in that Sistine Chapel "Creation of Adam" ceiling fresco. A little too skinny for a cherub, though the expression is almost right. I dunno...

Date: 2003-08-22 10:49 am (UTC)I'm definitely thinking Michelangelo, though some part of me wants to say sculpture. Still, that's a very good comparison and may be what I'm thinking of.

Not quite the right angle on that one...this may have to be investigated...
