Where, oh where has this week gone? I know that I've gotten stuff done, I've done chores, and danced and read books, but it's already Thursday, goddammit! And it's the 19th already, where the hell has this month gone?!
Performing on Saturday, nerves beginning to fray. *sigh* I'm just not a performer when it comes right down to it. I love dancing with my friends or by myself, but audiences just freak me out. I don't like it when doing something creative makes me all nervous and freaked out. I know the hafla is no big deal, still I'm not really looking forward to it, you know?
Speaking of dance (well, kinda'), Aelf and I have been contemplating the notion of a drumming party over at Chez Femme II sometime this summer. We can teach some basic rhythms, and folks could bring drums, finger cymbals, or just two hands to clap. Might be a fun way to kind of ease into the whole hafla concept. Would anyone be interested in attending? And more to the point, when would be a good time?
