Very quickly I turn to my fandom friends to ask if anybody out there reads/writes Marvel and can rec some Iron Man fic 'cause I'm seriously hurtin' right now. I did stumble upon a Tony/Steve site but I hate wading through the drek to find the good stuff. And I'd dearly love some gen stuff if I could find it. Slash is fine but sometimes you just want a good juicy character piece without the 'ship stuff. If you know of anything help a sister out.

Second I don't know why but my shoulders feel like a couple of wire bands. Can't seem to do much of anything to get my shoulders and neck to relax. Not under any particular stress or anything, just..ugh. Maybe the yoga will help tonight, if not I'm out of ideas :(

Third Marvel vs. Capcom 3 looks fucking awesome! As Microsoft has declined to fix my Xbox I may not have a console to play it on, but hey maybe I can repair it myself. Otherwise I have a very expensive doorstop.

The warranty had been voided, my own fault for buying it used on eBay. But there are a number of fixes out there I can try before I give up on the thing so I guess I get to crack it open when it gets back (if it gets back).

Big believer in the ol' vertical hot tub. Usually for the sake of alleviating sinus symptoms. Certainly a hell of a lot faster and cheaper than heading to Nine Bats...

Have you ever tried those little fizzy vaporizer tablet things in the shower? Hot water + vaporizer tablets = instant sinus relief. Guaranteed.

A co-worker of mine has a similar complaint about his shoulders - nothing has helped, not hot showers, not massage, not corn bags, not anything. He has a friend who is a doctor of homeopathic medicine who suggested ... I forget the name of the herb/plant/extract, but if you're interested I could find out Monday and pass it along.
