You know I knew there was some serious emotional manipulation going on but somehow I didn't seem to mind. And I kind of liked the fact that it came quite literally out of nowhere, that even House had no clue. I also liked watching him melt down in his own uniquely screwed up way. I really think he was grooming Kutner to be his successor, that he saw a lot of himself in the guy, only a better version of himself. And now he's left rather shockingly devastated and with no idea what to do about it.

If nothing else I do find it a dramatic twist pregnant with possibilities for House. I wonder if it'll inspire him to give psychological help another try.
