Via sheafrotherdon, this House/SGA credits mashup is downright brilliant.

Daily moving of stuff over to the new place continues apace, and I'm quite pleased with the progress I'm making. Job hunting continues but no responses so far this week. I'm telling myself to focus on moving and worry about how I'm going to pay for everything once I get this done.

Also the car's maintenance light is on and staying on today...as long as it gets me through the weekend that's all I ask at this point. *sigh*

All that maintenance light means is that you've hit one of the mileage points the car thinks it needs to be serviced. It freaked me the hell out the first time my car did it, too. :)

Thankfully, it doesn't mean it's dying or anything. If it was, I'd have been in trouble about 7000 miles ago. ;)

Even if you haven't seen House the overall style of the credits will kick your ass. Really beautifully done, and coupled with Massive Attack's "Teardrop" you can't go wrong :)

Yeah I'm reasonably sure it's just the maintenance reminder as the engine light isn't on. Still, any lights on the dashboard make me nervous :(

I know this is unlikely to actually help, but don't be nervous about it. It's just a "friendly" reminder tied into your odometer. I.e., GIVE US MONEY. They turn it off during servicing by flicking a switch. :P

I actually checked out that vid with the House/SGA credits last night and then forgot to comment on your LJ! Doh! *g* It is brilliant and I'm going to add it to my list of SGA vid recs -- along with that Sandman vid you showcased. I'm telling you, I've found more cool vids through your LJ recently than anywhere else! :-)

I'm sorry you still haven't had any luck with the job hunt. I'm sure something will come along, especially considering how many resumes you've been sending out. And companies keep resumes on file, so you may still end up being contacted weeks after the fact. For one job I had, I originally applied for one position and was turned down. However, my resume was passed on to someone in a different department and I ended up being hired that way.

I actually have thing that will turn off maintinance light around here somewhere. It didn't turn off my "fix airbag" light, though (it really did need fixing).
