Kara is amazing in her insanity, in her faith, it's astonishing to see Kara with complete faith in anything. I loved the point she made about following Laura's vision before and how much it cost her and all of them to do so. It's interesting that Laura right now isn't so much leading them towards something as leading them away from where Kara wants to go. Also loved Kara handing Laura the gun and basically saying, "If you think I'm a cylon then shoot me." And even better...Laura does. Though her aim is shit. Symbolic as hell, of course, I mean landing right in the center of the picture of her and Adama and shattering the glass, but still.

I also love that Adama was really torn about who to support in that scene.

Meanwhile back on the base star we have Sharon doing naked interpretive dance for Cavil while the Hybrid continues to sound like she's reading a Dr. Bronner's label. Sharon, Six and Leoben are convinced that the Final Five are in the fleet, and they got it from the raiders. Cavil gets all pissy, don't think about the Final Five, and oh btw the raiders are getting above themselves so let's lobotomize them. Also interesting that Six has started to look a lot more like D'anna, she's following her path and I like the visual tell there.

Ooh, another Final Four meeting! Tigh seems to be implying that he doesn't believe Kara is a cylon. Tyrol does seem to be the brains of this particular outfit as he thinks talking to Baltar might be a good idea. Then Tigh gets kind of gross about prostituting one of them out to get close to Gaius and my skin starts to crawl. Post-Ellen Tigh is really kind of a dick.

Bill goes to growl at Kara. Adama tells her she's frakked up again and lost her last ally to which she replies,"Yeah, frak me, it sure as hell isn't going to be you." Ouch. Then because, hey in for a penny, in for a pound she digs a little deeper and adds, "You're the president's wet nurse." Ah good lord Kara hasn't lost her penchant for pushing emotional buttons, has she? The woman really, really needs to work on impulse control. One wonders what will happen if they continue going "the wrong way", will she lose it entirely? Not that I think that's what's going to happen, of course, I'm just wondering.

Back on the base star there's been a tie vote, but Boomer (who was apparently the one doing the naked interpretive dance earlier) has abandoned her models to vote with Cavil. Eights do seem to be the wild cards of the remaining models, huh? Six freaks out and starts a Cylons for the Ethical Treatment of Raiders organization when Cavil says he's going to lobotomize the raiders the old fashioned way. Six tells him he's not god, and he replies he's a mechanic. Fair enough.

Meanwhile Lee's farewell to arms party is really kinda lame until he says, "To absent friends" and I have a wicked Rocky Horror flashback. Adama pauses to glance at a picture of Starbuck before reappearing back in his quarters where we see a picture of Zack (hey, two for two, maybe Zack is a cylon!) and the little figure head of Aurora that Kara gave him.

In some sort of mess hall Tori looks like she wants to do anything but kiss up to Gaius but there she is. Baltar struts in looking like he's shooting for windswept pilot chic. He sits down to chat Tori up and suddenly instead of Six coming to play an alternate version of him appears and he's sincerely freaked out. He goes off on a tangent about music and orchestras and Tori gets weirded out and flees. We then get the two Gaiuses chatting like old friends (I love that Baltar is so used to imaginary friends that he's just learned to go with it). Tori, we learn, is "fragile" and that Baltar can "sense it", though it's less a surprise that (of course) he totally wants to do her. But who is the other Gaius? My theory, it's God. I mean how the hell else would Gaius picture said deity?

Bill's hitting the booze after a long night and Laura gives him a hard time about it. She wants to know what they're going to do about Kara and when Bill tries to avoid it, she tells him to get his ass in the chair and talk. Bill is still clinging to his faith in her, and Laura tries to get the atheist to admit he might believe in a miracle. Bill reminds her that she could've killed Kara and didn't. "Diloxin fraks with your aim" she mutters, to which he replies, "So does doubt". Laura tries to get him to see that he wants to believe in Kara because he'd rather die believing in her than live without her. Bill strikes back, telling her maybe she's not the kind of brave dying leader she thought she was, and storms out as Laura discovers her hair is starting to fall out, she breaks down alone. My inner Bill/Laura shipper breaks down too.

In Kara's cell Lee comes to tell her he's leaving the fleet, it's his destiny to become a bureaucrat. They kiss and instead of "I love you" he simply says, "I believe you". And oh god it's the most romantic thing ever. Yes I am totally a Lee/Kara shipper, so sue me. Lee gets a better and more formal send off that just about makes the poor boy cry and us right along with him. Just tell me we're still going to see Lee...hey, maybe if they do end up putting Kara on trial... There's an awkward moment between Lee and Dualla, apparently they're divorced? Well his, "Looks like you got the house" comment would certainly imply that their marriage is dissolved in some fashion. Good for Dee, she so totally needs to move on.

It's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest on the base star. Six asks Cavil politely to stop lobotomizing the raiders and Cavil doesn't see that homicidal gleam in her eye. Too bad, so sad. In come the Centurians and Six says, "They're not here to vote, Cavil." One hopes Six has a way of boxing the other three models or this little revolution is going to be over before its begun.

The fleet limps along as Tori and Gaius are gettin' it on and she bursts into tears during it. Gaius tells her that cylons can feel and then he starts his one true god schtick. Tori seems to find this sexy talk and gets back with the program. No longer taking one for the team, are we?

Cavil tries to order the Centurians away, to no avail as Six has given the Centurians the gift of sentience. And the Centurians are not happy, no they're not. Six looks demurely away as the other three models are gunned down in cold blood.

One more jump and Kara feebly cries, "Go back!" Bill watches from a distance but then turns and walks away. Helo enters Kara's cell and orders her cuffed and out she's marched. Down on the flight deck Bill's waiting for her, she thinks he's about to space her but oh no, he's giving her a ship and a crew (the Demetrius, sewage recycling ship). Adama may not believe in her vision but he believes in Kara Thrace and he's giving her the chance to prove herself. "Now go," he tells her, "find the way to earth." They hug and all is once again right in my world.

And next week...Cally, aw, we hardly knew ye. Poor dear. She wasn't really doing anything this season anyway so it's probably for the best. And it looks like giving the Centurians free will may turn around to bite Six and the others in the ass. What does Cavil know about them that she, Leoben and the Eights don't? Hmm.
