Happy new year, everyone. Here's hoping that 2008 proves to be more agreeable than 2007 was. Many thanks to elo_sf for hosting our little get together yesterday. There was good food, good company, lots of video games, the Dr. Who Xmas special and kittens! Well after Aelf and I escaped the hell that is San Jose's airport. Honestly the place is a damn nightmare of epic proportions.

At any rate I just wanted to announce here that I've got a new phone, though the same number. I'm now with Credo who are not just "less evil", but seem to be actively good as far as telecommunication companies go. My new phone is sweet, though I've yet to be able to effectively send files to it like decent ringtones which makes me a little sad. On the plus side it came with a solar recharger which is just about the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Guess that's about it for now, my emails have been stacking up so I'd best start whacking through them with a machete...

So do they actually have any downloadable ringtones anywhere or do you just have to buy them from random sites on the web?

Back when they were Working Assets I found downloadable ringtones that you could buy from them, there might have been some free ones, but I haven't looked around since the changeover.

I didn't realize Credo used to be Working Assets - I will check them out next year when my current phone agreement expires. I always liked WA and wondered what had happened to them.

Yeah I've also got the WA credit card and I really like it too. Also the solar recharger...man, it is just the coolest toy ever!
