Ever had one of those weeks when you look at all the things you have to get done in 7 days and think, "How much sleep can I do without and still function reasonably well?" That's me this week.

Where has all the time gone? I swear sometimes that the Fates do this on purpose just for a good chuckle. "Ok, we put nothing on her calender for weeks, lull her into a false sense of security, then *wham*! Everything happens all at once. What a hoot!"

And the sad part is, I try to plan for these kinds of things, and each time I fail rather miserably. Grrr.

Ah well, at least I had time for a milkshake with [livejournal.com profile] jimweasel last night before zooming home to see the ever delightful [livejournal.com profile] caredhel. She brought Easter prezzies that were very very pretty. I'm wearing the pentacle I received right now as a matter of fact. It even matches my tattoo, how cool is that? *G*

Tonight is shopping, a possible library stop, and planning choreography stuff with the troupe. Tomorrow is much cleaning, laundry, and assorted scrubbing (I've reached maximum tolerance on the rug in the back room). Friday I'm picking up some videos from a teacher down in SJ then off to Straw Hat pizza for a performance at 8 pm (anyone wishing to attend please do, the lovely [livejournal.com profile] eilonwey and our teacher Alyne will be dancing!). And, oh yeah, the weekend's booked too.

It's feast or famine it would seem. Yeah, I know, [livejournal.com profile] jakejr, the key is moderation...

I love that you've internalized my advice like that. My work here is almost done. :-)

I echo jake's sentiment, but your work will never be done, jake! What would we do without you? :)

Hi there!

Sorry to just bounce in entirely off topic, but the Mithril Awards (http://www.viragene.com/tolkien/) start accepting nominations on Thursday, and [livejournal.com profile] hyel and I were thinking that Mary really needs to be nominated. :D

So far we were thinking that we could nominate PGY for Best story focusing on Hobbits. And Hyel checked with the people who are running it, and they said that it would be all right if we nominated individual stories from an unfinished series. So, we could also nominate stories that stand on their own well from West of the Moon for Best Alternate Universe. I was thinking that "The Old Stories", and "Mistress Lobelia's tale", work pretty well on their own, and that "Storms and Rainbows" does a good job of summing up what WotM (and PGY to a certain extent) is all about. We could also nominate "Wild Cherry Tea" for Best Original Character.

We were hoping to sneak around Mary’s back with it, because that way we can surprise her, and you know how she gets when people try to compliment her. So, what do you think?

OT... pgy.

Mithril Awards

Tiamat's Child and I have a Cunning Plan to nominate PGY and whatever single WotM stories can stand on their own. Obviously, since they deserve it. So we decided to tell all the people on the PGY community about it outside of the community so that Mary can't get modest all of a sudden and tell us not to nominate her.

Yes, we are awfully cute, aren't we?

Nominating can begin on the 24th, and all fics finished before then are eligible, including ones you've written yourself.
