The annual holiday plea

ebonlockSo once again I ask those friends and family members to not get me more stuff and, if they'd really like to spend money in a way that will please me, donate it in my name instead. Need to know where I'd love to see a donation go this year? Well here ya go:
The Red Cross is doing some great work to help the survivors of the Bangladesh cyclone and I'd love to see a donation go to assist in that.
Second Harvest is addressing a very real and very distressing problem, hunger in our country. The numbers of people who are going hungry in the US are rising and food banks are feeling the strain so I'd love to see a little assistance sent their way.
I've been a big fan of the work Farm Sanctuary does for years, and donating to help save farm animals and spread the word about the joys of vegetarianism would make me oh so happy!
And of course, in little Alpha's name, I'm always happy to see donations go to Wildlife Rescue.
