My friend J- just let me know about ST:TOS "The Menagerie" in theaters this weekend. Apparently it's playing locally at the Shoreline and tickets seem to still be available. First thing that sprang to mind? Giant Orion Slave Women in HD. Mmmm, Orion Slave Women...

My ST geek side is strongly tempted by this. Very strongly tempted.

It looks like next Tuesday (13) and Thursday (15), not this weekend? I couldn't find a weekend option, at least--I think my free Blingo ticket is for Century theaters, and as I'm, er, not sure I've ever seen this, I'm totally up for going. Lmk if you can handle the weeknight thing, and let's set it up!

Happily for me, the ticket code is good for up to $12.50! Bastards are tacking on $1 processing fee (yup, more reason to loathe Century), but it looks like this should work. I have just remembered the new standing plans for WoW on Tuesdays--could we maybe make it Thursday? Lemme know!
