That final combo fire/airbending move made me just about wet myself. I cannot believe how much I am dying for the season to begin.

As awesome as that was(when I first saw it I seriously shouted 'HOLY SHIT'), I don't think that was actually Firebending: note that the explosion of flame pops seemingly out of thin air, with a thin beam behind it? I think that is the work of COMBUSTION MAN(seriously his name, check the magazine) who has the power to shoot EXPLOSIONS OUT OF HIS FOREHEAD, which is just...awesome.

I'm not so keen on Aang's I NEED MY HONOR BACK thing, but if there's one thing Avatar has taught me, it's that Aangst is always shortlived. Also, jesus listen to him. Did his voice crack while he was comatose or something?

I like Aangst, personally, he's growing up and turning into a big boy now. Of course I don't think they're going to let him go too far down that road, otherwise they're just making him Zuko Jr. One Zuko is quite enough for the series ;)

Aangst is good in small doses, but excessive amounts are really annoying, as I learned in the Serpent's Pass. Of course, part of the issue there was that we had Aang AND Sokka angsting at the same time, which was just ARGH TOO MUCH.

I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see this show's audience growing by leaps and bounds. I'd argue it's the best animation this country has ever produced and one of the best stories I've seen in a long time.
