It was really nice seeing our artist RW this weekend, who flew down to sign contracts, geek and watch Venture Brothers. He's such a sweetheart, the kind of person who's always laid back and good natured, and one who believes in spontaneous hugs. Took him out for a couple of dinners and Saturday morning dim sum at my favorite veggie Chinese place. I can eat way too much of that stuff, though it does make me want to buy a steamer and learn how to make faux pork buns and custard buns. Mmmm...

Despite eating like a goddamn pig all weekend my weight seems to have held steady, go me! But I did end up quite exhausted and feeling more than a little drained by Sunday so I ran some errands and then just holed up at the apartment all day. Got some cleaning done and basically really enjoyed not talking to people for most of the day. I suspect my inner hermit is crying for some solitude and I may end up being a bit anti-social this week. Many apologies in advance for that, but there are times when I just need to be quiet for a while.
