Note to self: All sodas henceforth are to be caffeine free or you don't touch them. Caffeine just screws up your sleep pattern too much and you wake up zombiefied. It's not worth it.

I've actually started calorie counting again which is giving me a good idea of how many I take in on any given day. It's amazing how quickly snacks can send the total shooting up. I never feel like I'm eating all that much, but the numbers say otherwise. Better to know and do something about it than to just feel wretched and helpless, so I'm looking at this as a good thing overall. Knocking 500 calories off per day and/or adding in more moderate exercise should put me at one less pound per week. So theoretically by July I should be back where I want to be. Theoretically.

Treated the cats for fleas last night and neither of them pouted or hissed about it, yay! Hopefully that'll take care of the little parasites and keep them from biting either them or me. If I see any more I'll get more aggressive about it, but for now I'm feeling quite accomplished.
